These districts led the state in identifying and claiming SBAP-eligible supplies and materials. By systematically tracking and claiming these expenditures, they generated tens of thousands of dollars — and in some cases hundreds of thousands of dollars — in SBAP reimbursement.

Methodology notesSupplies and materials claimed costs per capita are calculated by dividing the grand total of “other costs” for direct services reported on the annual cost settlement/cost reconciliation report by the number of students with special needs. Figures are from the FY25 school year. FY26 data has not yet been submitted as of publication.
